The Story of Floating Weeds, Yasujiro Ozu
Yasujiro Ozu is one of my favourite film makers, I love love his movies !! All of his shots are so nicely composed. Here are some stills from his silent movie The Story of Floating Weeds. So poetic :)
Klute
Some intersting stills from the movie Klute, directed by Alan Pakula and photographed by Gordon Willis. Again Gordon is playing with some really dark lighting, I also love how he plays with the focus to create sightly blurred but beautiful images that totally go with the mood of the story. The movie also was dark, quiet and creepy but really good !!
